Horrible call against Cavani!!! That is why soccer needs another head referee on the soccer field. I would be interested in hearing some of your opinions on this. What do you think should be done to solve some of the bad calls and to stop the flopping that slows down the game and costs teams some of their best players undeservedly to red cards? - I hope to see a lot of comments below.

I agree. There were a lot of bad calls in that game. That reflects poorly on FIFA and Copa America 2015. I think there should be stationary refs on each side of the field to help the main ref so that there are more eyes on the field. Each stationary ref would move opposite of the main ref. Any calls not obvious to the main ref could be quickly discussed with the stationary ref to get the calls right and move the game along. Opinion from Hollywood Beach, CA

That sounds like a great idea. You should submit that to the FIFA Rules Committee!

That started out as a soccer match and the ref lost control turning it into a neighborhood fight. I thought Jara should be banned for 3 years since it is the second time he groped an Uruguay player. First it was Suarez and now Cavani. Being from Europe myself, I feel South American futbol is atrocious.

Since you are in the U.S., what do you think about the Clint Dempsey ban from U.S. futbol for 2 years?
