Up until then, we will continue to practice with intensity and scrimmage our teams against others around the same or better skill level to help them commit to re-establishing complete team unity and trust. This will also help the players refine our offense (taking imperfect action) and get used to seeing things defensively that will give them better situational awareness going into the season.
Most of the tournaments that we have considered entering in August, have been very large and we do NOT want to overload the learning and refining process or have them lose confidence in their ability as players and as a team (you are only as good as your weakest link).
Please let us remind you, for players to thrive in the FC7Soccer® Cheetahs™ elite youth club soccer system, they need to learn how to balance their individual excellence with teamwork and that means balancing their individual training at home with the trust and unity we teach at every practice. It also means that the "7 Pillars of Character" must be ubiquitous in their daily lives and they should perpetually use the "Thinking Model" on the pitch. -FC7Soccer® Mgmt.
