FC7Soccer® is an Institute for learning soccer at an elite level. It consists of our DA™ or PlayElite™Development Academy™ and our Elite Soccer Club teams (currently under Legends SCV program). The word "Institute" comes from the Latin root words; "institutum" (meaning facility or habit) and "instituere" (meaning to build/create and/or raise/educate). We are a NOT-FOR-PROFIT organization, a registered California corporation, 501(c)(3).

Afsheen Alborzian
Afsheen Alborzian; has over 30 years of soccer experience as both player and head coach. He and Mr. Pickering (see below), Co-Founded FC7Soccer® Development Academy™ in 2015. The FC7Soccer Foundation™ is a California 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. We accept donations both with recognition and anonymously.
Coach Afsheen is the revolutionary technical genius and athletic soccer visionary, that developed a process that lets young players swiftly adapt and overcome the challenges in the fluid game play of soccer, giving them an advantage on-the-pitch. When players follow the FC7Soccer®DA™ program or "train-on-the-edge" they quickly learn the structure and workflow with technique that is central to the game, allowing them to begin creating. The program training vastly improves the small-sided attacking and finishing opportunities, through fast touches delivering real-time high-speed decision processing. Knowing where you are on the pitch by scanning and reading you understand when and where to show or angle run into space. His defensive tactics are similar to Cryuff and Pep's genius. Due to the amazing program Coach Afsheen has put together, FC7Soccer®DA was awarded the official LAFC® SCV's youth grassroots program. Coach Afsheen is also a talent scout for US Club Soccer's (PDP) Player Development Program which has approved status as part of U.S. Soccer's ODP-Olympic Development Program and id2™ for identification and development of potential players to play on the U.S. National Team (USYNT).
In addition, Coach Alborzian has a B.S. in Kinesiology with business concentration in Sports Coaching and Leadership along with a graduate Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA). He currently works in education at the senior level. He was awarded a college scholarship for soccer in the CSU (Cal State University) system during the 1990s. Coach Afsheen has over 25 years working within the field of Education.
He also now has over 25+ years of experience as a youth soccer head coach and technical director in the United States Soccer Federation at the elite club coaching levels. His well documented experience has included working for elite youth FC Barcelona teams, Valley United (Red), North Valley Soccer Club of SFV, CZ Elite, currently with US Club Soccer's Player Development Program as a scout and advisor, the Director for LAFC SCV's Grassroots Program, the Director of Boys Club Teams Player Development with Legends SCV, and of course as Chief Technical Director and President at FC7Soccer®.
He leads the transformation programming for our Play Elite™ DA (Development Academy) by FC7Soccer®. His shift of emphasis training programs paradigm and his revolutionary coaches training has created our top level coaches, and has been driving our players toward elite status, since we started in 2015. Coach Alborzian has played an integral part in the development and skill enhancement of many youth soccer players (boys and girls) who have gone on to play at the college level all over the country and with a 4-year ride (scholarship). Many of his players have also been recruited by professional club teams like players starting the Los Angeles Galaxy's very first D1 professional soccer program. He also coached some of FC Barcelona's first club teams that were U.S. based here in SoCal (the Greater Los Angeles area). Corporate Vice President of Finance, Accounting, and Tax Management
Fabiola Alborzian
Fabiola Alborzian; has more than 17 years in corporate finance. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a registered CPA in Mexico City, Mexico [DF].
Most of her experience is in accounting some of which includes working at the world renowned; PwC Corporation. She has keen experience in preparing and reviewing federal and state income taxes for individuals, corporations (C&S) and partnerships. Fabiola has also yielded experience in preparation of financial statements, business management, and preparation of payroll and text returns for both online and in-person accounting. She has strong knowledge of how government accounting and reporting systems, policies, and procedures work.

CW Pickering
CW Pickering; Has his coaching credentials at the 11-v-11 club level in the United States Soccer Federation coaching system. As the innovative business mind and the tech backbone for FC7Soccer®, he has over 35 years of business experience and success with almost 10 years spent in equity financing and investments, then another 20 years+ in mission critical elastic compute and machine learning/AI systems development and applications. He spent 5 years in Silicon Valley.
His information systems and technologies core competencies are in cloud/hybrid networks, predictive and embedded analytics, and data science architecture and configurations for systems/app automation, visualisation, transformation iteration, customization, optimization, and integration for infrastructure/application security, network monitoring, design configuration, and systems/applications remediation. He also holds Microsoft V900-AZ900-Gold SSP certifications for Dynamics 365-Azure-Power Automate platform, and Cognitive-Augmented services in Cloud, Analytics, VR/AR, and AI/ML with NLP.
Mr. Pickering has played key roles in senior management, as an entrepreneur, and multiple advisory roles within the tech-startup industry. His strategic-level experience with tech start-ups since the 1990s has delivered high-value results and successful business outcomes in the key performance elements of business, throughout his career.
As a senior team and C-level leader he was heavily involved in raising start-up capital and managing burn rate, strategic partnerships, scaling revenue growth effectively and efficiently, building revenue teams, and developing go-to-market strategies. He has been a business development resource helping start-ups from their beginnings to all the way through liquidation [M&A and IPO] phases.

CW's coaching credentials can be found on the Coaches Corner page here on our website. In his younger days he was an exceptional athletic talent with 4.4 40-speed. He starred in both football and baseball with college scholarship offers, and played basketball up to the high school level.
In college, CW majored in Information Technology Management with concentration in Pervasive Systems and Mobility Strategies. He went back to graduate school at the famed Michigan State University's Eli Broad School of Business and received his executive certification. He now holds a Masters in Data science with concentration in Machine Learning and Business Analytics as a Spartan Alumni.
