You can blame the inconsistency in lineups from Coach Klinsmann, but when it comes down to it the culprit was laziness and poor execution. #USMNT should be embarrassed, especially the so called leaders on the team. Maybe it is time to recognize there is talent in the U.S. that goes untapped year-after-year in soccer. The real truth; 75%-85% of the players on #USMNT probably shouldn't be on the team simply because they are not the best in the country. No heart, no sense of urgency, no leadership, and bad tactics more times than not. No one has replaced Donovan as a leader -no one! Call it the glass half full or half empty, but the way I see it -let me tell you about the benefits of ice Coach Klinsmann. You said it yourself in 2010. -What is your opinion on this folks?

Mexico benefits from a horrible call! Not only should the game have ended but to take away a game that was hard fought by both teams is a travesty! The refereeing has been consistently bad throughout the tournament, showing once again the influence of FIFA and its corruption of the game the world loves!!!
48 hours after sending their top forward home, the U.S. Mens National Team #USMNT, dominated Cuba in the Gold Cup Quarter Finals. Now we typically dominate Cuba in international play, but that is a gutsy call to make going into the elimination stage of a major tournament. Knowing Klinsmann's background, my take is that he is a great chess player and so I would choose "genius". However, I am interested in your opinions and would also like to hear what you think about the Altidore incident. Please write your comments on this blog and on our Facebook page at FC7soccer. Klingsmann stresses the importance of players getting consistent playing time in order to build cohesion on the soccer field, yet, in the second game of the Gold Cup, he started 7 new players. He has to continue to stick with same line up in order for the players to comfortable with each other!!!
We are trying to decide on which LOGO for our youth soccer camp tee shirts is best. Please take a good look, then vote by commenting below. Tell us why you feel so strongly about your choice. Everyone that comments will be put into a drawing and can win a complementary FC7 Soccer Camp tee, just like the one that will be worn by camp members. Gotta love the U.S. Soccer girls getting to add their 3rd star to the crest with their 3rd World Cup victory. They truly are blazing the soccer trail in the U.S. and have been for a couple of decades now. Decades ahead of the U.S. Men's Team. We are all proud of our girls! Props go out to Jill Ellis and Coach Tony. The U.S. Men won their first Gold Cup game over Honduras, 2-1. According to Coach Klinsmann the former German star and Coach, they will need time together to get everyone on the same page. That is also how the girls began the World Cup so lets hope the U.S. Men have the same destiny as the girls and win it all. What are your thoughts on the game and who do you think will win? Will it be one of the 3 favorites or a new comer surprise? Who will be the Gold Cup MVP? I have always emphasized the importance of set pieces to my teams and watching todays USA vs Japan game, just solidifies why they are so crucial!!! It is amazing to me how professional club and national teams hardly every run set pieces let alone are able to execute a set piece. When teams are so close in talent and ability, set pieces, if executed properly,
Argentina's manager to again play Higuain over Tevez proves to be fatal!!! The second mistake, allowing Higuain to take a penalty kick. These horrific decisions are why Managers get fired! But the question will remain, where is Messi when Argentina needs him? http://www.espnfc.com/copa-america/match/424357/chile-argentina/report Argentina versus their host and neighbor; Chile. The final on the 4th of July -who will prevail? You've got an abundance of European stars on Argentina, even sitting on the bench are Tevez, Higuain, and others who are big stars in Serie A -the Italian League. Then there is Messi [short for Messiah]-need I say more? On the Chilean team you have Tevez's teammate on Juventus who is also a star in his own right; Vidal along with a host of other European players. They seem to be playing very well together coming into this match. Argentina clearly has the talent edge, but Chile is the host nation and has a lot of momentum they will be bringing with them into the Finale. Can they keep the momentum going and muster up enough goals to beat the favored Argentine "equipo del seleccion"? Let's hear your thoughts and comments. Happy Independence Day! Go USA! Our girls of the beautiful game play it beautifully. What a game against Germany proving all of the "nay-sayers" wrong that had the U.S. at number 2 and Germany at number 1 -in the semi-final match yesterday. Carli Lloyd, Julie Johnston, Alex Morgan, O'hara coming off the bench, Morgan Brian, and the rest of the team posted a phenomenal team win with great passing, pressing, dribbling, and technique. They pulled off some great set pieces and the score really should have been more than it was on both sides. The Germanic crew did well also and at times it looked like the North Pole around their goal they had so many red suits in the box, but our girls prevailed in what I would call the "real" World Cup Final!
